Delta and NXP Expand Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Intelligent Systems in Automotive Applications
Showcasing Precision, Safety, and Functional Integrity in 800V BMS Platform, Next-Generation Vehicle Computing and Zonal Controller Platform at CES 2026
Taipei, Taiwan, December 30, 2025 – Delta, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, today announced the expansion of strategic partnership with NXP® Semiconductors (NASDAQ: NXPI), a global automotive semiconductor company in the development of the next-generation 800V battery management system (BMS) platform, and vehicle computing and zonal controller platform. The collaboration combines Delta’s system integration expertise with NXP’s advanced semiconductor technologies to deliver higher efficiency and safety for electric vehicles. Together, the companies are enabling scalable, software-defined architectures for smarter, connected mobility.
James Tang, Executive Vice President of Delta’s Mobility Business, said, “The partnership expansion represents a major leap forward in high-voltage energy management as well as in the vehicle architecture. By combining Delta’s expertise in system integration with NXP’s proven automotive technologies, we’re delivering a solution that is precise, intelligent, safe, and reliable for future mobility.”
Robert Li, Executive Vice President, BL China of NXP Semiconductors, said, “We’re proud to collaborate with Delta to advance automotive system development, and bring these advanced BMS and Vehicle Computer and Zonal Controller platform to CES 2026. Together, we’re enabling OEMs and Tier 1s to accelerate their electrification roadmaps with confidence.”
Delta and NXP have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), building on the initial agreement signed in 2022 that focused on electric vehicle applications. The renewed MOU underscores a broader and deeper collaboration aimed at advancing next-generation smart mobility solutions.
BMS Platform with Precision Engineering for High-Voltage Applications
Delta’s BMS platform is built for high-fidelity monitoring and control in demanding environments. It delivers ultra-low noise performance for voltage and current sensing, an 800V–12V DC/DC converter, and built-in AI-enabled functions for advanced data analysis and system optimization. This level of precision enables more accurate State-of-Charge (SoC) and State-of-Health (SoH) estimation, resulting in longer battery life, improved driving range, and enhanced user confidence.
High-performance and Future-ready Vehicle Computing and Gateway Platforms
Delta’s vehicle computing and gateway platforms are engineered to deliver high-performance vehicle computing systems and gateway architectures in demanding automotive environments. These platforms support key functions including service-oriented architecture (SOA), over-the-air (OTA) updates, real-time vehicle data analytics, as well as functional safety and cybersecurity compliance.
Delta and NXP also announced that Delta’s BMS platform, vehicle computing and zonal controller platform will be demonstrated at NXP booth at CES. (NXP booth number: [CP-134]).
